Excursions, Incursions and Special Programs

Excursions and incursions are an integral part of our learning program and are planned to supplement and augment the curriculum as we work towards achieving the outcomes set for our students.  Some excursions are for the entire school and classroom teachers also plan class excursions. Students participate in incursions and excursions that are linked to the curriculum with the specific intent of “value adding”, along with other activities of great value:

  1. Cahoots Art program
  2. Weekly cooking lessons
  3. Sensorium interactive sensory theatre
  4. Dance program
  5. Starkick Football Carnival for students in Years 4-6
  6. Edudance in Term 4 with mainstream classes
  7. Speech Pathologist delivers weekly lessons
  8. Junior and Senior Sports Carnivals
  9. Integration into mainstream classes as suited to each student
  10. Fun Day
